I am thrilled to announce the opening of my upcoming exhibition, The Unbent Curve, showcasing a brand-new body of work that explores the intersection of structural form, physical stress, and time.

Form, tension, and time: oil paintings and copper sheets conceived on curves, then flattened for observation.

This exhibition presents a series of oil paintings and copper sheets created entirely while held in a restricted, curved state. By working within this curve, the materials endure immense surface tension, fundamentally altering how paint, metal, and chemistry interact. Through physical saw cuts, interconnecting holes, and evolving chemical reactions allowed to grow over time, the boundaries between the surfaces are dissolved.

Only when the work is finally unfurled and flattened for observation is the final state revealed—leaving behind striking patinas and fluid landscapes that hold the permanent memory of the curve.
