Art statement: In my work, time is the brush. By subjecting the canvas (linen or copper sheets) to a 3D form, I allow the surface to bloom into a spectrum of reactions. This result isn’t just an aesthetic finish; it’s a memory of the curve. When the canvas is eventually returned to a flat plane, it shows reciprocal markings and retains the stains, ripples, verdigris and stresses of its journey—a non-linear record of a single gesture.
