From undulation to flat

The following illustrates one example of the Membrane Art aesthetic thought. Note: The undulations (folds) and the pigment or action used on the surface may be of any form and not necessarily the one shown here.

Top left: Side view of the undulated membrane: The membrane is folded to allow for the dimensional values to manifest. As paint flows from the top it may then pool at the bottom within the given width.

Top right: This undulated membrane is a work-in-progress and at an early stage of its development. After a succession of undulations, it will go onto to become the below image.
